Terms of Use

The rules for using PortWin and your license.

Effective October 4, 2026

Agreement

By downloading, installing or using PortWin you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Trial and license

Payments and refunds

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, and their buyer terms apply to the payment. Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy; contact us at kukalab@icloud.com and we’ll help. Use the trial to make sure PortWin runs the programs you need before you buy.

Open-source components

PortWin includes Wine and other open-source software, each under its own license (for Wine, the GNU LGPL). Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses. The source code of Wine and our changes to it is available on request.

Your software and content

You are responsible for having the right to install and run the Windows programs and games you use with PortWin, and for complying with their license terms, including any rules on emulation, compatibility layers or anti-cheat systems. PortWin does not supply Windows or any third-party program.

Acceptable use

Don’t use PortWin to break the law, infringe others’ rights, bypass copy protection, or distribute malware. Don’t remove our license checks or redistribute modified copies of the app as PortWin.

No warranty

PortWin is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that any particular program or game will run, that it will run without errors, or that the app is free of defects. See the Disclaimer for details.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuka Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, saved games or profits, arising from the use of PortWin. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the update. Your license ends if you materially breach these terms.
